POSITION:                                     0.6 Part-Time School Psychologist
SALARY:                                        Based on Education/Experience/2022-23 Contract

The Hebron Board of Education is seeking a 0.6 School Psychologist for the 2022-23 school year.
 
Position Summary:
Facilitates the learning process through effective application of diagnostic, counseling, teaching and consultation skills.
 
Qualifications:
Certification/License:     Valid Connecticut School Psychologist certification (070)
 Education:                     Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
 Experience:                   Working knowledge of assigned grade level curriculum; thorough knowledge of elementary or special education principles, practices and procedures; thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching; thorough knowledge of school rules, regulations and procedures; ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior; ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, administration, and parents.
 
Physical Requirements:
Must have the physical ability to execute the full performance of duties for the position, including but not limited to:  reaching, some lifting, standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting, and/or crawling.
