Math Intervention Specialist - High School 9-12 - (ESSER III Funded) (2022-2023 School Year)
This position is for ESSER Funded Instructional Specialists Grades 9-12 MATH for the 2022-2023 school year. Campus placement is TBD.
Compenstation: Teacher Pay Scale + 10 days.
Reports to: Campus Principal/Asst. Superintendent
Position created as an ESSER III funded role for the 2022-2023 school year.
To provide leadership and guidance with the implementation of systematic RTI process.
Provide direct Tier III Math instruction to identified 9-12 at-risk students and to support Tier II Math intervention.
Work closely with the Curriculum & Instruction department and campus administration to ensure student academic progress.
Master’s Degree (preferred)
Valid Texas teaching Certificate in Secondary with required endorsements/training in subject and level assigned that include grade 9-12
Possess extensive knowledge of early intervention strategies as part of the Response to Intervention (RTI) process
Experience in the utilization of data to improve instruction Possess a working knowledge of technology and instructional application
Possess extensive knowledge of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills
Possess extensive knowledge of district and state assessment
Experience: Minimum of 5 years 9-12 grade classroom teaching experience in Math instruction
