Position: Long-Term Substitute Teacher - Intervention Specialist - Moderate/Intense Classroom
Location: Mason Elementary 3rd & 4th Grade
Dates of Service: August 10, 2022 - October 7, 2022
We are seeking a dynamic individual for a Long-Term Substitute Intervention Specialist Teacher - Moderate/Intensive. Excellent candidates will possess both desire and knowledge for working with students who may have Autism Spectrum Disorder or other pervasive developmental disorders. Excellent candidates will have knowledge of a variety of programming options for students. The candidate should be open to collaboration with parents, general education teachers, related service providers, school psychologists, and behavior coaches. Moderate to intense certification is not required but preferred. The successful candidate will be committed to the highest personal and professional standards.
Other minimum qualifications include:
1. Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist Certification/Licensure.
2. Willingness to engage in continued professional development and work as a member of a collaborative team.
3. Establish a positive rapport with students, families and staff.
