Salary Range: 

$70,343 - $116,977

Broward County Public Schools’ (BCPS) Information & Technology Department is seeking dynamic individuals who will commit to using their technology and leadership abilities to research, design, implement, monitor, and manage information technology solutions to improve student achievement and operational efficiencies, while realizing the department’s Vision of “Technology, enabling learning for all – any time, any place”.   

We are currently seeking a Manager, Information Security, who possess: * Working experience with: * Configuring firewall policies; Fortinet experience a plus. * Content filtering and application control. * IPS tuning. * Configuring VPN. * Traffic analyzers, log correlation and analysis, and packet capture analysis to perform in-depth digital forensics. * Patch management; Landesk and/or WSUS/SCCM experience a plus.   * Active Directory, GPO, and Certificate Services. * Successful incident response and root cause analysis.   * Advanced understanding of malware, APT and social engineering threats to respond to constant IT security incidents and fortify defenses. * Working knowledge of wireless security, specifically 802.1x, RADIUS authentication.

This position reports to the Director of Information Technology Security.
