1.High school diploma.
2.Minimum experience as determined by the experience as determined by the board.
3.Demonstrated ability to work successfully with children and adults and to perform assigned duties.
4.Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
REPORTS TO: School Business Administrator
SUPERVISES: Students during distribution of breakfast, lunch, and afterschool snack.
JOB GOAL: To maintain an orderly, safe , hygienic, and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria by helping and supervising students at mealtime.
1.Serve meals to students.
2.Maintain a system for orderly distribution of food, disposal of food waste, return of trays and utensils.
3.Ensure the cleanliness of tables and surrounding areas.
4.Attends all workshops pertaining to the Child Nutrition Program.
5.Performs other related duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Ten-month employee. Salary to be recommended by Executive Director and approved by board.
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the board's policy on evaluation.
