Position Summary As a member of AUSL’s Recruitment Team, the Recruiter will be responsible for identifying the best and brightest for our yearlong teacher residency program and schools. Primary Responsibilities AUSL’s Recruitment Team is tasked with identifying, cultivating, and selecting candidates for the Chicago Teacher Residency program and for vacancies within our network schools. The Recruiter will identify high performing individuals for admission into the Chicago Teacher Residency Program or for prospective teacher vacancies within the AUSL Network of Schools. A few of the Recruiter’s job responsibilities include: * Travel and serve as a point of contact for select Universities and Partner Organizations to build and maintain a territory of relationships that generate pipelines of diverse candidates (Traveling will be approximately 50% of this role) * Assist 10-12 AUSL schools with the recruitment of high-performing teacher candidates * Assist in the organization, coordination and management of recruitment and vetting events which may include college recruitment fairs, networking events, information sessions, career fairs, selection days and other activities that may be deemed appropriate * Serve as the lead for identifying teachers endorsed in 2-3 high need areas in support of the overall needs of the network * Source, recruit and screen prospective candidates * Assist in the intake, review and update of candidate files for the CTR program and prospective teacher vacancies * Successfully collaborate with and support team members, business partners, and the Director of Recruitment to create sourcing and recruiting plans, develop strategies, identify trends, implement action plans and initiatives, and coordinate events to develop candidate pipelines * Create and maintain a database to track progress towards filling vacancies * Manage and utilize data to drive results across the organization * Design and prepare reports for management on recruitment results * Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs and track progress towards key performance indicators * Other duties as assigned
