In addition to these Global Outcomes, we integrate technology into our classrooms at high levels to help enrich instruction, individualize learning, and prepare our students for the future. We are a 1-to-1 iPad school and district. Therefore, we are always looking for innovative ways to further integrate technology into the classroom to support learning.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Provides instructional supports for English Language Learners in small groups or one-on-one
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with other teachers to co-teach and provide in class supports for students when needed
  • Manage and monitor the personalized learning plan for English Language Learners
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • SIOP training preferred
  • Committed to positively impacting student achievement\
  • Effectively manages the learning environment
  • Have an understanding and appreciation for diversity
  • Have effective interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrates commitment to continuous learning
  • Literate in using technology to enhance instruction and communication 
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
  • BA in Linguistically Diverse/Bilingual Education or related area
  • Have the appropriate training and background for the position to be able to obtain or currently hold a Colorado license with appropriate endorsement.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Salary range is currently based on the 20-21 salary table and will be adjusted accordingly once the 21-22 table is board approved, $40,000 to $58,800 with single benefits. Up to ten years of previous experience from an accredited school district may be granted. Position starts on or about August 12, 2021. FLSA exempt.  Position is open until filled.
