Developing Stage ELA Teacher (3-4)

Position Details:                                                                                                                   
Developing Stage Teacher, grades 3-4. Developing Stage Teachers hold primary responsibility for the implementation of the Ohio Standards of Learning, for teaching the model-adopted reading and writing curriculum, and for ensuring the success of each of their students through clear and consistent record-keeping, differentiated instruction, and timely and specific individual feedback. Our classrooms are multiage, determined by the students’ stage of learning. Being a teacher in the Intergenerational Schools requires the ability to connect quickly with students, families, and colleagues in a poised, convincing, and enthusiastic way. Teaching in an Intergenerational School also requires a strong sense of urgency, initiative, and drive to ensure boundless learning that lives both within and beyond the classroom walls for each student.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree
• Valid OH Middle Childhood OR Early Childhood Pre-K-3 License with a 4/5 Endorsement License or must be in the process of obtaining a valid OH teaching certificate/license in subject area to be taught
