GREAT START READINESS PROGRAM
GRANT FUNDED                       

POSITION: ASSOCIATE TEACHER  (Grant Funded)
  • 1 Position 
And any positions that result from the filling of this posting
 QUALIFICATIONS: ·             Previous experience in Early Childhood Program preferred
·             Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
·             Associate Degree in Child Development and/or CDA already obtained – Preferred
·             Completion of Early Childhood Development college course hours (at least 3) for compliance plan
·             Must meet State and Federal Legal Requirements
·             Must be punctual and maintain good attendance
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education and/or Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable
DUTIES: ·             Assisting teacher with assessments, lesson planning, and participating in a classroom of 3-5 year old children
·             Assist Lead Teacher with small and large groups of children
·             Participate in home visits and parent-teacher conferences
·             Maintain strict child, family and staff confidentially
Other duties as assigned
RESPONSIBLE TO: The Crowley Center Director
WORK SCHEDULE: GSRP School Calendar                           
SALARY: According to AFSCME, Local 849 Master Agreement, GSRP Salary Schedule
