Social Workers (Title I - Grant Funded)
The Title I School Social Worker provides direct services/interventions to general education students that are At-Risk due to high referral and suspension/expulsion rates. The Social Worker also assists the staff with determining appropriate data collection methods, evaluates observation data and makes recommendations to the building team and building administrator that may include plan modifications or new strategy implementation.

Salary & Benefits:
Teacher Basic Salary Schedule (Contingent on Grant Funding)

Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs equal to the difference between the premium cost and the annual cost limitation imposed on public employers.
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
- Valid Master's Social Worker License.
- Fulfills requirements for approval as a School Social Worker through Michigan Department of Education.
Previous social work experience in a public school setting or related agency preferred.
