Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent
 
Qualifications:
 
· Previous Administrative Assistant experience, preferably in an educational setting
· Proficient in computer operating systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power  
   Point
· Self-Starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
· Ability to communicate well both written and oral to a variety of audiences
· Able to maintain confidentiality in all work assignments
· Ability to work a flexible schedule
 
Reports To: Superintendent
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
 
· Functions as Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent
· Manages and supervises daily operations within the Superintendent’s Office
· Prepares packets of information for Members of the Board of Education prior to every
   Board Meeting
· Composes letters, agendas, legal notices and documents requested by the
   Superintendent
· Works cooperatively with administration and staff
· Maintains and updates Board Policy Manual
· Establishes and maintains files as necessary
· Maintains positive public relations and a working relationship with the community,
   staff, parents, and students.
· Maintains professionalism when working with or speaking to a variety of constituents
· Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent
 
Terms of Employment:
 
· 12 month position
· Comprehensive Compensation Package
· Salary dependent on experience
