We are seeking applicants with skills, abilities, and willingness to provide instructional assistance (often working with orthopedically impaired children) or building duty assistance for absent paraeducators throughout the school district. This is an on-call, as needed position.
Required Education and Experience:
1 - Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
2 - Require additional Education and Experience such as:
(a) Have received a passing grade on the Education Testing Service paraeducator assessment; or
(b) Hold an associate of arts degree; or
(c) Have earned seventy-two quarter credits or forty-eight semester credits at an institution of higher education

Once an application is approved, qualified candidates will be contacted by Human Resources to complete hiring paperwork, have fingerprints scanned for a background check, and receive information on the Substitute New Hire Orientation.
The rate of pay is $19.19 per hour. Substitute employees may be benefit-eligible depending on hours worked.
