Cumberland Valley Virtual Academy (CVVA) Long Term Substitute - 6th Grade Teacher
Cumberland Valley Virtual Academy (CVVA) is seeking a long-term substitute to instruct 6th grades students virtually through the remainder of the 2020-21 school year. Subjects to be taught may include English Language Arts, Reading, Social Studies, Math, and/or Science. Candidates should be comfortable leading and instructing students through a variety of digital platforms.
An active Elementary K-6 or Elementary All Subjects 4-8 Pennsylvania Teaching Certification is required. Candidates who possess multiple certifications are preferred. Candidate must have a thorough knowledge of the physical and psychological aspects of elementary aged children and good communication skills. Must understand and be able to teach the approved curriculum.
In addition to being qualified and knowledgeable in the specific area of certification required, we are seeking individuals trained in:

- Student-level data analysis and interpretation
- Classroom Technology Integration

If hired for employment, the applicant must be able to submit the following:
- Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
- FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old)
- TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
- Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old)
