Position Summary

To plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their educational potential.

Department:  High School Campus           
Reports to: Student Services Coordinator (SSC), Principal, Director of Special Education

Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Highly qualified in content area

Licensing/Certification Requirements:
  • Valid Arizona Teaching certification in the appropriate designation of Special Education: Mild-Moderate Disabilities K-12; Severe and Profound Disabilities K-12; Hearing Impaired; Visually Impaired
  • Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card

FLSA Status:  Exempt

Salary Placement:  Appropriate column and step placement on the Teacher Salary Schedule
