MIDDLE SCHOOL LEAD
FOOD SERVICE 
CENTRAL MIDDLE SCHOOL
 
Hours: 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Monday - Friday
(7.5 hours)
                                                                                         

                                                                       

   

           QUALIFICATIONS

  • Coordinate daily production of menu items.
  • Plan production quantity of meals.
  • Supervise daily activities of Food Group associates assigned to building.
  • Ability to read, follow recipes and directions for preparing menu items.
  • Ability to operate a variety of commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Receive, count and prepare food for service as needed.
  • Setting up and serving of morning breakfast program. 
  • Setting up and serving student meals during the lunch period. 
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of production reports.
  • Responsible for kitchen cleanliness and end of day clean up, including dishes.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation and physical safety rules required by State of .
  • Point of sale and cash handling experience needed for breakfast service, lunch service and POS End of Day.
  • Responsible for monthly inventory and safety audits.
  • Assist with training of staff.
  • Must be Serv Safe certified or able to pass the testing within 60 days of hire.
  • Responsible for ordering of food and paper products via internet procurement system.
  • Must be computer proficient.
  • Serves as liaison between customers, building staff and café staff.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director / Chef.
