Lights On Afterschool Professional
 
Hot Springs County School District No. 1 is accepting applications for the Lights On After School Program. Multiple positions are available at all our school sites (RWE, TMS or HSCHS). This is a year round position. Hours will vary between 14-16 hours/week and slightly different during summer programming. 

All Lights On Afterschool positions are contingent upon the availability of 21st CCLC funds.

POSITION TITLE

21st CCLC Lights On Afterschool Professional

POSITION PARAMETERS

Year Round - Varied Schedule

Position contingent upon availability of 21st CCLC funds

Position contingent upon passing a school district background check

14-16 hours/week & slightly different hours during summer programming (June-July)

Job related experience is desired

High school diploma or equivalent is required

BASE WAGE

Starting at $12.79/hour 

POSITION FUNCTION

  • Assists site coordinator with preparation and classroom/club activities 

  • Implements learning activities for students under the direction of site coordinator

  • Maintains classroom supplies, equipment, and work area

  • Supervises & monitors students at all times 

  • Cleans/organizes facilities used 

  • Promotes good habits as a role model for students

  • Tutor/mentor students as assigned by the site coordinator; individually or small groups- modify homework as necessary

  • Follows staff handbook and program management 

  • Helps plan, prepare & execute clubs throughout the school year/summer program

  • Required to have working knowledge of computer technology & equipment 

  • Required to participate in scheduled Lights On professional developments & trainings

  • Reports to Site Coordinator if any situations arise
