Position: School Duty/Service Aides
 

Purpose and Functions: School Duty/Service Aides work at the direction of the building principal and leadership to provide a variety of support services to the school building and its daily operations including but limited to

  • delivery of breakfast or lunch meals to student classrooms or locations as determined by building administration

  • monitoring and assisting students during meal times

  • monitoring and assisting students during any recess periods at elementary schools and on elementary playgrounds

  • assisting classroom teachers with light clean up of class/learning areas after meal services

  • potentially monitoring hallways, school bathrooms and water fill stations during student passages and use

  • assist with bus/transportation on and off loading during staggered entry/exit to school settings 

 

Hours, Salary & Benefits: 20 Hours/per Week; Mon-Fri. 10AM to 2PM; $12.50/Hour; No Benefits Associated with this Position
 

Locations:  Various Elementary and Secondary Locations
 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to interact with children and adults in a pleasant, professional manner at all times; 

  • Able to commit to  attendance daily and punctual attendance throughout the duration of the academic year; 

  • Ability to lift multiple objects of 25 pounds for the duration of the scheduled shift; 

  • Ability to work within school settings with minor children and associated operational issues, pace and culture.  

  • 18 Years or older
