School Wide Data Coach
Must hold a certificate issued by Nevada Department of Education Teacher Licensure.
The certificate must be in one of the following types: Elementary License, Secondary Education License.
The certificate position area must be in Academic Coach.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th.
The certificate status must be active.
SUMMARY: The School Wide Data Coach provides direct support and professional learning to school staff to assist them in understanding and analyzing student and school data to inform instructional decisions and to build capacity within schools to effectively analyze data.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. • Serve as part of the building leadership team and be responsible for the disaggregation and analysis of a variety of school-wide data to improve and meet the unique academic and social needs of all students. • Work directly with the principal and teachers supporting them in implementing student centered learning practices aligned with the curriculum. • Converts intricate data sets into informative and user-friendly reports for schools. Generates graphic visualizations of data to help school leaders understand and interpret data. • Support the Professional Learning Communities to build their capacity to understand and utilize data effectively and act as liaison for professional development opportunities. • Assists teachers in developing effective assessments and using the data to track student growth. Develop protocols for teachers and students to track and analyze student progress toward mastery and to guide data discussions with other teachers and with students and parents. • Monitor results of both state and local testing and assist schools with analysis of the results providing the starting point to guide teachers and administrators to continue the process. • Other duties as assigned
