Valid Ohio interpreter for the hearing impaired license. Qualifications:  Interpretation of Transliteration Certificate in American Sign Language (ASL).   Documented Evidence of a clear criminal record.  Valid Ohio Department of Education Permit appropriate for the assignment. Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL), Pidgin signed English (PSE), and Signed Exact English (SEE).Strong voicing skills including fluency in reception and expression. Skilled in use of alternative forms of communication.  Self-directed and able to learn required skills for the position. Congenial disposition and strong interpersonal skills. Observe professional code of ethics of the Registry of Interpreters for the deaf
