Anticipated Vacancies for Certified Long-term Substitutes

The Stratford School District is committed to recruiting, hiring and supporting the most dedicated and qualified education employees. Our staff must be able to educate all students to their highest level of academic potential and to foster the skills and knowledge necessary to become capable, creative, and responsible members of society.
 
The District is seeking certified candidates to fill positions as Long-term Substitute positions.  Candidates must possess a commitment to fulfill the District's mission as well as demonstrated skills in teaching a diverse student population.  In order to succeed in this position, candidates must effectively deliver creative and effective education curricula and instructional programs. 

*Remote work may be required as a part of these assignments as per the district re-entry plan.  Candidates will be contacted as positions become available in their subject area.  Assignments may be at any school or program within the district.

Qualifications:

Valid CT Certification
Eligibility to apply for CT Certification
Eligibility for DSAP or other CT State Temporary Permit

Rates of Pay:

Certified Rate: $100.00 per day for the first 40 days and $175.00 per day as of the 41st day.  Specialized rates may apply for shortage areas.
