High School diploma or Accredited General Equivalency Diploma {GED) 
Note: Proof of U.S. equivalency must be provided if diploma is from outside of United States.
Must meet ONE of the following, to work in a Title I school: 


Associate degree or higher from an accredited college/university; OR Forty-eight {48) hours of college credit from an accredited
college/university; OR
Passed a locally approved training program in reading, writing and mathematics AND can assist in instruction. 

Be eligible to obtain a paraprofessional certificate issued by the State Board of Educator Certification: and
Applicant must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee (approximately $SO.DO) paid by the applicant, before continuing within the process towards possible employment.


 Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Ability to assist students with academic work at the academic grade level appropriate for assignment.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals in a professional manner.
Ability to use computers to retrieve and send email and us District - required system/software program.
