Crossing Guards are needed for the 2020-2021 school year for W. Reily Brown, W.B. Simpson, and Major George S. Welch  Elementary Schools and Fred Fifer III Middle School.   

This position requires helping students cross the street by directing traffic before and after school.  


This is a Temporary, part-time, hourly position with no benefits. For continued employment beyond the current school year, Crossing Guards must re-apply online each school year.

 Salary
: $15 per hour

HOURS:  Will vary depending on school schedules.  Crossing guards report in a.m. and in p.m. during arrival and dismissal times.

REQUIREMENTS: Before employment is offered,: individual must demonstrate successful criminal background check ($65) and clear TB test/physical. Both are at the expense of applicant. All employment documents/paperwork must be submitted before starting in this position. Employment paperwork will be given to candidates upon hire.
