POSITION:                LTS  Assistant Director of Special Education  - this is a temporary position to fill a leave       
LOCATION:               District Office    
REPORTING TO:       Director, Special Education
STARTING:                 On or about  October 15,2020 for a FMLA  leave
SALARY RANGE:      Competitive  Per Diem rate
 
QUALIFICATIONS 
 New Hampshire certification requirements  for teaching Special Ed, requiring a  M.Ed  special education and five years teaching and/or administrative experience in special education that demonstrates knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding special education, and ability to manage programs and staff.  Prefernce given to candidates who have certification as a Special Ed Administrator.  Proficiency in technology, oral and written communications is required. 
 
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Nashua, NH School District seeks an enthusiastic and energetic administrator who will provide leadership in the implementation of district-wide special education services.  The successful candidate will plan, implement, coordinate and supervise special education programs for the District and observe special education teachers.
