Description

Two (2) positions are available. (1) Som Center Road and Inwood Drive and (2) Som Center Road and Ada Drive
Days: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7:30AM-9:00AM  and   2:30PM-4:00PM
Rate of Pay: $16.03/hour
Training Provided
Can be combined with another open position to approach full time status. (See Lunch/Recess Monitor)
Background Check Required.

POSITION:                     Crossing Security Aide
 
POSITION TYPE:          Classified – Instruction/Non-Instructional Aide - Salary Schedule
 
QUALIFICATIONS:      High school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
 
Shall have the ability to communicate and deal with students, teachers and the public in a congenial and positive manner.
 
Shall have demonstrated aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities.
 
Shall exhibit acceptable standards of emotional stability, moral character, sound health and be physically able to perform necessary job responsibilities.
 
Shall exhibit a pleasant and dignified manner, be neat in appearance and have the ability to adjust to change.
 
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

CONTRACT
WORK DAYS:                As per Board Agreement (follows the school calendar)
 
RESPONSIBLE TO:      Director of Security
 
SUPERVISES:                N/A
 
GENERAL
RESPONSIBILITIES:    During the assigned times, to assist students and other community members in safety crossing the street at the assigned, signalized street crossing.
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES
AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:    Provides direction and assists students with activating the signal for crossing.
