Description: Under the supervision of the Administrative Principal of the building, maintain the building, grounds and/or equipment.
Job Summary: 8.0 hours/day, 5 days/week, 260 days/year, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM shift available
High school diploma. Post-secondary training in a trade is advantageous.
Ability to lift/move items weighing 70 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
Complies with drug-free workplace rules, board policies and administrative guidelines/procedures.
Demonstrates evidence of appropriate literacy and numeracy skills (i.e. reading comprehension, written/oral communication, mathematical reasoning/application, etc.).
Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.
Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts personal responsibility for decisions/conduct.
Knowledgeable about general maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment used to support the District Operations.
Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
Maintains a valid driver's license. Meets all prerequisite and ongoing qualifications to be covered by the district's insurance carrier.
Meets all mandated health screening requirements.
