TITLE: School Psychologist

LOCATION: Urbana School District 116

SUPERVISOR:  Assistant Superintendent for Student Services

JOB SUMMARY:  The School Psychologist has a foundation in both psychology and education and assists in the development of a school environment that assesses and supports students academically, socially, behaviorally and emotionally.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in school psychology
  • 2 years school-based experience preferred

LICENSES/CREDENTIALS:  Illinois licensure as a School Psychologist

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  185-day contract (teacher’s schedule); UEA member, Salary Schedule

EVALUATION:  185-day contract (teacher’s schedule); UEA member, Salary Schedule

NOTE: This is a position within the collective bargaining unit and is not an administrative position.
