Description

The Literacy Support Teacher supports students in Literacy at Torrington Middle School. The Literacy Support Teacher is responsible for improving academic achievement for all students.  Applicants must hold or be eligible for a valid State of Connecticut teaching certificate with appropriate grade-level endorsement with #215 English Language Arts Middle Grades, #015 English Language Arts Grades 7-12, Remedial Reading endorsement #102, Reading Consultant #096 (for K-8 grades), or Reading Language Arts Consultant #097. 

Anticipated vacancy for the 2020/2021 school year, subject to available funding.
