McKay High School Orchestra
McKay’s Chamber Orchestra is a highly accomplished ensemble, which has performed for the National School Board Association Conference and has consistently placed as a top five finalist at the OSAA State Orchestra Championships. This position includes 4 high school string orchestras, symphony orchestra and one period to be determined.
The McKay High School Music Program is a recipient of support through The Music Lesson Project, which is a Salem non-profit organization that funds personalized music instruction for students in Title 1 schools.
The successful applicant would be a highly skilled and dedicated string / orchestra teacher - who has high standards and expectations for a student’s technical achievement as demonstrated through highly musical performances.
