Special Education Teacher Substitute

Position: Teacher – Special Education/EL Support - Maternity Leave
Term: 8-10 week maternity leave/part-time
Worksite: CASE Member/Non Member Districts

Position Summary: The employee in this position provides EL services to students with special education needs who are being served in out-of-district placements.
 

Position Requirements: 

• Completed requirements for a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Hold or be eligible for an Illinois Professional Educator License with LBS1 certification and appropriate subject matter endorsement.
• ESL Endorsement required
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Demonstrates excellence in verbal and written communications.
• Experience with collaborative groups and processes in a student-centered environment.
• Current CPI certification by start of school year
• Other qualifications of academic, professional, and personal excellence as the Board may specify.
• This position requires work to be done in person and on site.

Salary will be determined on a per diem basis and the employee will submit a timesheet for hours worked.
