BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY:
Work under the Cafeteria Manager to run the food service program at school according to departmental policies and procedures and National School Breakfast/Lunch and or Snack Program guidelines. Provide leadership, support, and guidance to staff to ensure food quality, safety standards, and customer service expectations are met. Oversee appropriate quantities of food are prepared and served daily. Meet time constraints for the preparation of all menu items and ensure recipes are prepared as required by the Department. Comply with health codes issued by city, state, and federal agencies. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and safety practices.
