MANAGING DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT 

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: The Managing Director of Institutional Advancement is a member of the Leadership Team of Notre Dame College Prep. The position is a full-time, twelve-month position. The Managing Director has a broad range of responsibilities, including managerial and leadership responsibilities, direct fundraising responsibilities, and planning and liaison responsibilities. 

Managerial and Leadership Responsibilities
The Managing Director has a level of knowledge about all aspects of fundraising in order to be able to manage the individual staff members responsible for: Planned Giving, Business Sponsorships, Major Gifts, Alumni Relations, Special Events, Stewardship, Donor Data Integrity, and Parent Volunteers. 

The Managing Director is also responsible for setting and meeting budget goals for each element of the fundraising plan, hiring and conducting annual review of employees, maintaining the integrity of the information on the Notre Dame College Prep website, and overseeing the Donor-Sponsored Scholarship application and award procedure.

The Managing Director instills and deepens the commitment of the members of the department to the Mission Statement of the school and to the core values of a Holy Cross education.

Direct Fundraising Responsibilities
The Managing Director is experienced in all aspects of Annual Fund, including writing, design, production, segmentation and mailing. The Director is responsible for finding grant opportunities, and guiding the faculty and staff through the application process, as well as fulfilling grant reporting requirements for current grants. 

Planning and Liaison Responsibilities
The Managing Director guides a board committee and the advancement staff through the strategic planning process from the initial stages through execution. The Managing Director will advise the board directors, board committee members, and advancement staff in the execution of a capital campaign from inception through successful completion.
