Description

The Fairview Park City Schools has an opening for a Grades 6-8 Associate Principal for the 2020-2021 school year.

CERTIFICATION:
Masters Degree in Educational Administration
Current/Valid ODE Principal Grades 4-9 and 5-12
Valid OTES Certification

GENERAL DUTIES:
Provide support and transition between Mayer Middle School and Fairview High School with primary responsibility at the middle school
To assist the Campus Administrator in providing leadership and supervision in administering the educational program of the middle school in order to promote the educational development and achievement of students in accordance with Board of Education Policies, administrative procedures, rules and regulations and applicable law

QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior administrative experience preferred, but not required
Ability to perform the tasks of student discipline, teacher evaluations, and program development
Strong leadership skills such as goal setting and vision communication to motivate school staff
Administrative skills to interpret policies and procedures
Effective skills to communicate with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
Planning skills to assist in the development, implementation and effectiveness of all school programs
Knowledge of financial management requirements

SALARY:
Per appropriate placement on the administrative salary schedule

August 3, 2020 (tentative) for the 2020-2021 school year
