The certificate status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.

This position is for the next school year, 2020-2021 and requires an FLDOE certified teacher in the area of in which you are applying. Teachers with valid Statements of Eligibility or Temporary Licensing can be considered as well. Teachers who are certified with other subjects may be considered as well but will be teaching out of field.

Out of state teachers are encouraged to apply and we can accommodate by doing virtual interviews.

Specific job duties:

Be a leader and foster leadership within your classroom -Planning, developing and executing lessons that reflect the curriculum and the state’s core educational standards -Adapting curriculum for individual, small group, and remedial instruction to meet the needs of identified students or subgroups of students -Evaluating the academic and social growth of students -Employing a variety of methodologies in teaching and instructing pupils in order to create an engaging and rigorous classroom environment -Managing student behavior in a manner that optimizes a safe and constructive learning environment -Working cooperatively with grade-level teachers to integrate instruction -Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with parents, the community, and administrative staff -Participate in building the school community through participation in activities beyond the classroom
