Long Term Substitute Position: March 16, 2020 - June 5, 2020

Location: Employee in this position must be willing to travel to different sites throughout the district. Grade level of students served ranges from 5th to 12th.

Duties:     

  • Provides therapeutic intervention for students with speech/language, processing, and social language disorders.  This includes both direct and indirect services.
  • Knowledge of appropriate evaluative tools and techniques used in conjunction with the various disorders, such as clinical evaluation of language fundamentals, tests of problem solving, and language sampling
  • Knowledge of appropriate State and Federal laws and regulations
  • Skill in developing the appropriate rapport with students, staff, and family members

Qualifications: Current license in Speech and Language Pathology issued by Minnesota Department of Education, as well as, eligibility for an American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association Clinical Fellowship, or the CCC certification. Position is responsible for serving students in elementary (grade 5), middle school and high school. Candidate must be willing to travel between sites.
