Position Summary (See Job Description on Posting for Full Details):
Under the general direction of the program administrator, and in accordance with the established policies and procedures of Eaton RESA, the school psychologist intern will provide direct and consultative psychological services for students enrolled in general or special education programs to facilitate the student's needs in their educational program.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (If Applicable):
  • (REQUIRED) In the process of or has obtained preliminary school psychologist certification
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
Education & Experience:
  • (REQUIRED) In the final internship year (preliminary certification year) of completing School Psychology Master’s Degree, or School Psychology Educational Specialist Degree.
  • (DESIRED) Six (6) or more months of work or volunteer experience in a school setting.
Physical Effort & Working Conditions:
  • Sitting – moderate
  • Sitting – possibility of long periods of time
  • Standing/Walking/Bending/Stooping – some
  • Lifting – involves minor lifting
  • Ability to sit on the floor and get up and down from the floor
  • Requires that the employee provide his or her own transportation for job- related travel.
  • Regular and predictable attendance at the workplace.
