Must hold a license issued by North Dakota Education Standards and Practices Board.
The license position area must be in School Psychologist.
The license must be in one of the following grades: Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
The principle tasks of the School Psychologist is to provide special services such as consultation with other school staff in planning individual programs to meet the special needs of children as indicated by interviews, behavioral evaluations, and tests; the administration and interpretation of psychological and educational tests; the consultation with teachers and other school staff concerning child behavior, modes of learning and the development of a positive learning climate; and psychological counseling for children and parents.
