Description

The Custodian II (High School daytime) position at Red Land High School is available for the 2019-2020 school year.. It is a Level 7, 8 hours per day, 249.5 days per year position. Work hours are first shift, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with altered hours and extra time as needed and approved. Pay rate is $15.25 per hour.

Required skills include a high school diploma and ability to supervise personnel.

Knowledge and ability to perform job function: Closely and professionally communicates with building staff and administration for daily needs.  Demonstrates the knowledge of training and supervising employees.  Able to lift up to 80 pounds and work at heights of up to 30 feet.  Must be able to maintain building inventory.  Work overtime when necessary and inspect the building on a monthly basis.  Will be required to maintain the building grounds, including athletic fields, and perform preventative building maintenance monthly.

This position also oversees the daily mechanical operations of the indoor swimming pool, including chemical checks and applications, cleaning, etc.  General computer knowledge is required.  Please see attached job description for additional information.
