Position: Media Center Literacy and Technology Professional
Location: Heritage Middle School
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Rate of Pay: $21.24 per hour
Position Description:
Media Center Literacy and Technology Professional will work to ensure Heritage students enjoy the media center and reading; will help students find books at their level, create displays/games to encourage the use of the media center by students and staff.
Position Requirements:
- Positive attitude;
- Willingness to work with students, parents and staff to plan/prepare for improved school success;
- Self starter to create and initiate programs for our students and teachers to improve/engage reading;
- Ability to get all involved; and
- Will also seek input from staff to create monthly maker spaces for the media center using literacy and science based knowledge.
