Position: Career Tech Education Teacher (full-time)
Courses: General introductory course that introduces students to the topics of coding, robotics, audio visual, 3D design and production, computer applications, and other CTE related skills.
At this level, the course provides an overview of many basic career technical skills so as to introduce the students to technical skills and possibly spark their interest in future courses in CTE and later on possible related careers.
Grade Level: Primarily 6th grade with some option for 7th and 8th grade students to join.
Teacher Cert: TE - Technology and Design or TX - Industrial and Technology Education
We are seeking teacher candidates with the following qualifications:
Highly Qualified to teach Middle School students at all grade levels in the area of CTE
Ability to deliver high quality lessons focused on student growth and state standards
Well-versed in best practice instruction methods
Expertise in differentiated learning
Exceptional passion for teaching and learning
Multiple areas of endorsement preferred
Ability to analyze student achievement data and use it for lesson design and delivery in the classroom
High aptitude for forming positive relationships with colleagues, students and parents
This position is a regular, full time position, MPSERS-eligible and fall under the GEA Master Agreement for salary and benefits.
