The certificate position area must be in one of the following areas: Director/Head of School, Division Head, Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal (Vocational), Principal, Principal (Vocational), Administrator, Assistant Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, Director – Education, Superintendent, Deputy, Deputy State Superintendent/Commissioner, Director, Executive Director, Team Leader.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: Preschool/Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The certificate status must be active.
JOB PURPOSE Serve as the site based leader of the school. Responsible for implementing and managing the policies, regulations, procedures and CSUSA curriculum, to ensure all students have a safe learning environment and receive instruction that meets or exceeds CSUSA standards. Responsible for leading curriculum content and course development, program evaluation, extracurricular activities, personnel management, financial management, facilities operations, emergency procedures, and resource scheduling.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS No physical exertion required. Required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Charter Schools USA. FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
