The Summit Public Schools is a culturally rich, preK-12 suburban school district of 4,200 students, which benefits from outstanding community support. Our students achieve at the highest levels academically, artistically, and athletically.

Thirteen percent of Summit’s students participate in the free and reduced lunch program. Sixteen percent of our students are Hispanic. Five percent of the students are African American.   More than 30 different languages are spoken by our students’ families. Parents of all backgrounds participate in supporting our educational programs and strengthening our schools, including active Hispanic and African American Parent Associations.  We are conducting this career fair for certified applicants to help tell the story of the Summit Public Schools to a more diverse applicant pool.

The Summit Public Schools is looking for talented and innovative staff members who can engage and motivate our students and prepare them for the 21st century. We celebrate the diversity of our students, and we seek outstanding candidates with diverse backgrounds to consider a career in the Summit Public Schools.

Pre-registration for the fair is required. We are limiting registration to assure that all those attending will have an opportunity for a brief screening interview with one of our administrators.

Advance registration is required.  Registration will close at 4:00pm the Thursday before the event.

We will be unable to accommodate those who have not registered.

Please bring with you a copy of your resume for entrance to the fair.

**Once you have been registered by the Office of Human Resources you need to go to the employment section of our website and read the instructions for information about the job fair. Doors will not open until 4:15pm.  All candidates need to be at the middle school by 5:00 p.m.**

ESL –  High School
French - Middle School
School Counselor - Elementary
Vocal Music - Elementary

Latin - Middle School
Chemistry - High School

Special Education (with Math or Science) - High School
Orchestra Teacher
Middle School Assistant Principal

Administrators will be on hand to meet with candidates in other areas of certification for anticipated future openings.
