School Improvement Facilitator – Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) Dauphin County

Schedule: Based on agreed upon deliverables
Salary: Compensation is based on the completion of a set of deliverables for each phase of the improvement cycle.
Estimated compensation for supporting one school for calendar year: $11,500 - $16,000. School Improvement Facilitators can support a maximum of three schools.
Purpose of Position: (Please see attached job description for full details) To provide support for schools in Pennsylvania’s Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) School Improvement initiative, a statewide program that includes regional school improvement teams. School Improvement Facilitators (SIFs) will engage school leaders and school-based teams in a continuous improvement process, including a facilitated self-assessment process, prioritizing strengths and needs, and conducting a root cause analysis. Using this information, the SIF will support the school-based team as this information is used to develop, implement, and monitor an improvement plan that is based on evidence-based practices.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Education Required: Master’s degree in education, doctorate preferred.
Certification or licenses Required: No certification required; Valid PA Driver’s License required.
Experience Preferred: Minimum of five years of experience serving as a building level principal, central office administrator and/or similar school leadership position.
Other Qualifications: Experience using school improvement strategies and implementation strategies. Experience serving as an excellent facilitator for teams.
