Middle School Mathematics Teacher
Must hold a certificate issued by Florida Department of Education.
The certificate must be in one of the following types: Professional Certificate, Temporary Certificate, Statement of Status of Eligibility.
The certificate position area must be in one of the following areas: Algebra I, Geometry, Math (General), Pre-Algebra, Probability and Statistics, Trigonometry, Mathematics I, Mathematics II, Mathematics III.
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: 6th, 7th, 8th.
The certificate status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Middle school Mathematics teacher that creates and maintains a classroom atmosphere that generates high expectations and enthusiasm for learning by infusing critical thinking skills, application skills, interpersonal skills, and technology into an aligned curriculum and assessment process, resulting in measurable student achievement gains for all students. Candidates must be well-versed in Florida Standards, public school/charter school experience a plus. Candidates must be well-versed in data driven instructional methods as well as able to differentiate instruction.
