First Year Teacher Mentor Program
OSCS encourages first-year teachers, who are energetic and dedicated individuals looking to prove themselves in the education field, to apply to our institution. Our first year teaching program provides mentorship from a team perspective. Teachers are paired with a mentor, grade-level leader, and team leader, in addition to a supportive administration, who are willing to provide guidance and support to ensure success.

OSCS offers competitive salaries to newly hired and experienced teachers. Teachers with a master degree are offered additional salary compensation. Many of our teachers have additional opportunities to earn supplemental income during the school year and summer months.

Our schools have worked closely with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Valencia Community College, the McKeel Academy of Technology, The Ron Clark Academy, and motivational speaker Harry Wong, among others. Multiple professional days are scheduled in advanced each school year.
