The certificate must be in one of the following grades: Preschool/Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.

BLC Principal Posting Base salary: $45,000 Bonus potential: $30,000

We are seeking qualified educational professionals to join our Administration team as a Blended Learning Center (BLC) Principal. The person in this position will be responsible for managing teacher and student accountability; most importantly, this involves ensuring grade book compliance and state testing readiness. The principal will work as an instructional leader and oversee day-to-day operations with regard to instruction and quality assurance monitoring. Additionally, this individual will manage a wide range of special projects and will assist with discipline and parent concerns as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES: The principal is responsible for overseeing all instructional operations of the school working with parents, students, support staff and certified teachers in the BLC environment, including making sure student to staff ratios are in compliance and that appropriate coverage is in place at all times. Assist in interviewing paraprofessionals and teachers for the BLC environment. Act as an instructional leader to drive student achievement Ensure that teachers and paraprofessionals exhibit and maintain a high level of instruction, professionalism, instructional support and customer service Ensure the academic success of individual students by utilizing all levels of academic support available and working with teachers to deliver program information and address individual student needs Continuously monitors and evaluates instructional staff performance; produces statistical analysis on a regular basis to improve the quality of teaching Provides timely feedback to instructional staff Provides detailed teacher performance reports on a weekly basis Interfaces with parents and students Communicates weekly with instructional staff the priorities for the given week Assists in the planning of some of the professional development, trainings and meetings for staff Coordinates with all other departments to ensure that the educational needs of all students are met Ensures that instructional staff are in a constant mode of improvement to increase student achievement Support all instructional staff to troubleshoot issues and offer support as needed To perform other duties as assigned
