POSITION: Homebound Instructors
RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the educational liaison between the student and his/her classroom teacher, in addition to being the student's homebound instructor when a student is unable to attend school for an extended period of time.
Homebound services are traditionally provided either in the student's home (with a parent/guardian also present) or in a local establishment (school, library, Starbucks, etc. . . ) and would happen either after school or on the weekend depending on your schedule.
COMPENSATION: Hourly rate. At least one hour per week per subject guaranteed. One hour of prep time will be granted per 3 hours of instruction.
Mileage to / from instruction is paid at the IRS mileage rate.
QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified candidate will have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with endorsement(s) in the subject area(s) for which you are providing your expertise.
Must be available after school, in the evenings and / or on the weekends depending on a mutually agreed upon time between the instructor and the student.
