Description

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot a variety of complex Windows XP / Windows 7 based computer problems
  • Repair various network and desktop printers
  • Offer on-site, telephone and remote assistance to users
  • Maintain an up to date inventory of District technology equipment
  • Configure/troubleshoot various wireless access points
  • Install and maintain district IP security cameras
  • Assist in developing a long-term strategy for future technology needs
  • Trouble shoot basic network, log in and file access points
  • Maintain and repair various AV equipment
  • Other duties as needed and assigned by the Technology Coordinator
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Two years computer related experience and competencies preferred
  • Ability to work respectfully and confidentially with staff and students
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve computer hardware and software problems
  • Possess good, professional, personable communication skills
Recommended Skills:
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of users with different technology experience
  • Solid independent and collaborative work ethic
  • Ability to react well under pressure, handle and balance multiple demands at one time with an expected level of professionalism
  • Knowledge of cabling local area and wide area networks
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP Networks
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking hardware preferred
  • Ability to use independent judgment and demonstrate initiative to act without being asked
Hours: Approx 40 hours per week  7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: EduStaff employed  $14.00 -$16.00 per hour depending on skills and experience
Work Year: 12 months
Report to:  Technology Coordinator
