Position Title: Data Analysis Lead Specialist – Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI)
Position Type: Contractor / Consultant
Location: Statewide Opportunities (Location determined regionally based on schools identified)
Status: Part-time (Project-based)
Schedule: Dictated by agreed upon deliverables
Salary: Compensation is based on the completion of a set list of deliverables for each phase of the improvement cycle. Estimated compensation for one calendar year: $30,000 - $44,000.
Purpose of Position: (Please see attached job description for full details) Provide support for schools in Pennsylvania’s Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) School Improvement initiative, a statewide program that includes regional school improvement teams. Specialists have in-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices related to their area of expertise. To provide technical assistance in the Specialist’s specific areas of expertise to engage school leaders and school-based teams in a continuous improvement process. To use knowledge of evidence-based practices, in coordination and collaboration with the regional improvement team, to support school-based teams in completing a facilitated self-assessment process, prioritizing strengths and needs, and conducting root cause analysis. To support the school-based team, in coordination and collaboration with the regional improvement team, as the school-based team in creating a plan of action, implementing the plan, and adjusting course as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Education Required: Master’s degree in education, doctorate preferred.
Certification or licenses Required: No certification required; Valid PA Driver’s License required.
Experience Preferred: Minimum of five years of experience serving as a building level principal, central office administrator and/or similar school leadership position.
Other Qualifications: Knowledge of and experience implementing evidence-based practices in Data Analysis. Experience using school improvement strategies and implementation strategies. Experience and success building the capacity of school-based teams in the context of continuous improvement. Experience serving as an excellent facilitator for teams.
