Computer Instructor
Must hold a certificate issued by Illinois State Board of Education.
The certificate position area must be in one of the following areas: Emotional Behavior Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Severe/Profound Disabilities, Special Education (General).
The certificate must be in one of the following grades: 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The certificate status must be active.
Description
The computer instructor provides computer instruction to students on a daily basis. He/She plays a critical role in that they carry out the IEP requirements for each student in their daily programming. The computer instructor also serves as a resource to assist other teachers both in the computer lab and in the classroom with technology related lessons. He/She serves as role model for students. The computer instructor is the “go to” person for technology for Kiefer School. Both teachers and student rely on this person to teach and assist with technology.
