Full Time Para Educator (Emotional Support)

The South Western School District is currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time 10-month paraeducator (classroom aide) position with a high school emotional support classroom setting.  Minimum qualifications include: An associates degree or higher or a minimum of 48  completed credit hours of postsecondary education; Clean Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 Background Checks/Clearances; Experience working with students in an academic or non-academic setting and knowledge of effective behavior management and conflict resolution techniques; Strong interpersonal, human relations, organizational, and communication skills.
